This week's Dog of the Week is the one and only Demi! 

Demi is a 5-year-old Pit Bull mix who came to us after being abandoned by her previous owner. Despite everything she's been through, she hasn't let it dim her loving spirit. Demi is one of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet and absolutely adores people. If you're looking for a cuddle buddy, she's your girl! She'll happily climb right into your lap—even if she's a little too big—just to soak up all the love and attention she can get.

Our vet confirmed that Demi is deaf, but that certainly doesn't slow her down! She's a smart cookie who has already learned several hand signal commands:

 One finger = Sit

 Patting the floor = Lay Down

Open hand = Shake

She's also fully house-trained, making her ready to settle right into your home.
