This week's featured feline is the lovely Shaniqua, and she's ready to find her forever family! 

At 6 years old, Shaniqua came to us as an owner surrender and is now looking for a loving home where she can settle in and be cherished. This sweet girl is gentle, affectionate, and absolutely loves pets and cuddles. While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for her sweet personality to shine. Once she feels comfortable, she'll happily curl up beside you and soak up all the love and attention she can get.

Shaniqua has been pre-diabetic in the past, so maintaining a healthy weight and sticking to a balanced diet is very important for her long-term health. Thankfully, with proper nutrition and a little moderation when it comes to treats, she can continue living her best life.

Now, we have to mention one more thing about our girl... Shaniqua can be a bit of a drama starter when it comes to other animals. She's convinced she should be the star of the show, so we believe everyone (especially the other pets!) would be happiest if she were the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.
